There are 12 symbols in total, this includes 5 low-paying symbols. These are represented by squares, Rhombus, circles, triangles, and diamond shapes. There are also 5 premium symbols, these are represented by blue, green, purple, red, and gold Aztec Masks. In addition to these regular symbols is a wild symbol and Free Spins scatter. The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Free Spins scatter. All premium symbols payout the same according to the paytable, so all of these symbols are the highest paying.

Aztec Twist Features

Landing a full row of the same symbol in the base game will trigger the ‘Respins feature‘. That row and any other row that forms part of the same winning cluster will become sticky. Respins will occur until the winning cluster is not improved from a respin. Every row full of the same symbol will also reveal a random multiplier between 2x – 5x. Multipliers are added together to multiply the total win.

Landing 3 Free Spins scatters during a base game spin will trigger the Free Spins feature. Awarding 8 free Spins, during spins there are 2 cylinders on the grid and there will be an extra special golden mask symbol that can appear on each spin. The Golden Mask has split into 8 sections, to activate the full mask you need to land a full row on every reel. Every time a full-row land of the golden mask symbol, you will be awarded 2 extra spins and the left cylinder will spin to award a random multiplier between 1x – 8x.
