Banana Rock Slot Review – Play n Go
Play’n’Go has already released a new slot not long after their Dragon Maiden release, which was a huge success and has had great feedback from the community. But their newest release ‘ Banana Rock’ was released on all sites 27th November. So far, there have been mixed feelings about the game. It has an RTP of 96.6% and is said to be high variance from Play’n’Go. The game has a respin feature, free spins and a max win of 2500x. The slot has an 80’s kind of theme with all the neon lights, funky music, and graphics. It has a band made up of monkeys and plays smoothly. You can play the game now on all good Play’n’Go casinos. Let’s find out more in our Banana Rock slot review!
Banana Rock Respin Feature
To activate this feature, you need to land 2 or more Rock’ N ‘Rollin wild symbols on any reels, the wilds which activate the feature stay in position for the duration of this. When the reels are spinning the wild symbol closest to the right will move horizontally and vertically to the symbol most to the left while leaving a trail of wilds. This feature can create some big wins as of all the wilds left in the trail.
Banana Rock Symbols and Paytable
The game has 4 low paying symbols of J, Q, K and A which are in a font with neon colours. There are also 5 high paying symbols of the monkey band mates which all have different colored backgrounds and are playing various instruments. The highest paying symbol is the yellow monkey and pays 40x over all 5 reels. There is also the wild symbol which also pays 40x over all 5 reels and a scatter symbol for the free spins.
Banana Rock Slot Review Free Spins
To activate the free spins you need to land two scatters but on reels 1 and 5, this will grant a guaranteed win in the encore spin that happens after the free spins end. You are awarded ten free spins and are given 1 extra for each scatters that lands during these free spins.
During spins, you can collect the band members; you collect these by landing a stacked symbol (which covers the whole reel) of one of the band members. You fill up the member’s meter when you collect these, the first collection of the members is at x2 multiplier, and +1 multiplier adds for every further collection with a max of 5x per member. The respin feature is also active during these spins. It sounds confusing, but it is easier to understand visually on the slot, it just a simple collection mechanic saw a lot of NetEnt slots.
After your free spins have finished the encore spin activates, this spin is a guaranteed win that only has the band members symbols shown on reels. The end multipliers on all band members are added together with a max of 25x, this multiplier adds to the win of the whole spin. This extra spin can help top up your bonus winnings nicely.
Banana Rock Slot Review Conclusion
Overall, I think this slot is fun to play but doesn’t seem very volatile. The respin feature helps top your balance in the base game, and the bonus feature is easy to understand after a first try. The encore spin can pay as it is just premium symbols and if you rack up a nice multiplier even better for your balance. It’s an excellent slot to try for a quick bonus and pays okay. Disagree?
