This slot does have a saturated theme of Asian inspired artwork, but it is unique. I always admire ELK’s art team as the artwork in most of their slots is very detailed. The background is filled with picturesque scenery and cherry blossom trees, with the slot center of the screen. The slot is based on Chi the spirit of fire and Mow the sense of wins. These two will help you by using their powers. Also, the soundtrack playing while you spin is very relaxing.

This slot has 11 symbols in total, which includes 4 low paying symbols. These are represented by fish, cups, fans, and flutes. These symbols have different vibrant colours to represent each. There are also 4 premium symbols represented by jade stones, gourds, lanterns, and lotus. There is also a wild symbol, bonus symbol, and free spins symbol. The highest paying symbol is the lotus, which pays 8x for 5 across a pay line.
Chi Slot Review Features
In the base game, two different features can be triggered when a totem symbol lines up. An animation will play to show which feature you have activated, the red totem will activate Chi, and the blue totem will activate Mow.
Chi = Generates fireballs which adds 1-6 wilds to reels.
Mow = Hits multiplier gong (2x-5x)
Another feature is called ‘Stairway To Fortune,‘ this is triggered when 3 bonus scatters symbols land on any reels. Chi will draw a random number between 1-6, Mow will move these steps along the path of increasing multipliers. This will continue until chi draws ‘Collect.’ You can win up to 10,000x on this feature.
The last feature which is central to the slot is the free spins feature; this is activated when 3 or more free spins scatter symbols land on any reels. 3 Scatters Award = 10 Free Spins, 4 Scatters Awarded = 15 Free Spins, And 5 Scatters Awarded = 20 Free Spins. Overall, I am very impressed by ELK Studios. This slot is very unique and has great volatility. It might be their most volatile slot release to date.
