This concept is based on Perfect Gems, which was originally released on 30th May 2019. In this new 2020 version, there is a festive/icy theme. There is a snowstorm animation in the background, set in a dark ice cave system. There are some small details such as gems glowing and premium symbol animations. Overall I love the visual style and art style of this release.

Frozen Gems Pay Table & Symbols
There are 11 symbols in total, this includes 5 low paying symbols. These are represented by 10, J, Q, K, and A. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by green, purple, pink, and orange gems. In addition to these regular symbols is a frozen scatter and wild symbol. The highest paying symbol is the orange premium gem, which pays 1x for 5 across a pay line. Wilds substitute for all symbols except the scatter.
Frozen Gems Features
All bonus symbols are frozen above the reels as a frozen wild and need 3 winning symbols or scatter on the corresponding reel to be freed and trigger a unique effect. On each spin the bonus reel will carry one of these two combinations;
A – Two bonus wild and one x3 splitting scatter
B – One bonus wild and two x3 splitting scatters
Bonus wilds transform all symbols into wilds. Splitting scatters split into 2 or 3, increasing the number of ways to win. Wilds on the normal reels are included, but scatters are excluded.
Landing 3 scatters will trigger the ‘Frozen Spins’, awarding 9 Free Spins plus one spin for each additional scatter on the trigger. The active multiplier is carried over into this feature and increases for each symbol win with no reset between spins. An additional spin is awarded for each scatter which lands during spins. The number of free spins and multiplier is unlimited.
