Greedy Wolf Slot Review – Pragmatic Play
Today we have another Pragmatic Play slot review; the latest was for the game titled ‘Gorilla Mayhem‘, which has a max win capped at 5,000x and a Free Spins feature with a progressive mechanic. Today we are learning all about ‘Greedy Wolf’, which is set to release on August 4th across all sites.
Growing up as a kid I remember a lot of nursery rhymes, such as Wheels On The Bus and London Bridge Is Falling Down. This slot is based on the nursery rhyme 3 Little Pigs, with houses made out of different materials coming into play through the unique bonus feature. The visual aspects are well detailed, with adorable characters as premium symbols.
Greedy Wolf has a setup of 5 reels by 4 rows; this includes 20 set pay lines. This slot is high variance with a set RTP of 96.48% and a max win capped at 3,000x. You can bet from £0.20 to £100.
Greedy Wolf Pay table & Symbols
There are 12 symbols in total; this includes 6 low-paying symbols. These are represented by J, Q, K, A, shovels and hammers. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by 3 pig characters with different vibrant backgrounds and a wolf. In addition to these regular symbols are a wild symbol and a scatter symbol. The highest paying symbol is the wold premium, which pays 20x for 5 across a pay line. Wilds substitute for all symbols except the scatter. Wilds and scatters appear on all reels.
Greedy Wolf Features
During base game spins, modifiers can occur; possible modifiers are;
Greedy Wolf Wild – Randomly fully stacked and expanded wolf symbol on reel 3. All pig symbols transform into the wolf symbol. All winning combinations are paid after this transformation.
3 Little Pigs Wilds And Respin – A random number of wilds can be added to the screen on reels 1, 2 or 3. Then the wolf comes and has a chance to move the wilds one position to the right and trigger a respin or blow the wilds all out of the screen and end the feature. Respins can happen until there are no more positions to move the wilds to the right or randomly blown out of the screen.
Guaranteed Win – On a spin, with no win, the wold can come onto the screen and blow all symbols away. Then new symbols fall from the top of the reel set. With a guaranteed win of 20x or higher or enough scatters to trigger the Free Spins feature.
Landing 6 or more scatter symbols during a base game spin will trigger the Free Spins Feature. When the round starts, the positions of all scatters that triggered the feature are marked with a square made of straw. During spins, whenever a scatter lands, the position will be either marked or if already marked, the square will be progressively upgraded to wood, then brick and then castle. These markings remain until the end of the round.
After spins have finished, marked positions will randomly transform into houses, and the wolf will appear, blowing on the screen. This will reveal random money prizes behind each house. Prizes value depends on which type of house. Landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters will award 1, 2 or 4 free spins. Ante Bet can be activated, increasing the bet size by 25%. With this activated, only 5 scatters are required to trigger the Free Spins feature.
Conclusion
Overall, I think this slot is a fun release by the studio and includes a great range of mechanics. With a max win capped at 3,000x and a Free Spins feature with marked positions & cash prizes. Be sure to try out the game for yourself on release and check out our exclusive casino offers.
