In addition to these regular symbols is a wild symbol, bonus scatter, purple gem and a golden gem. The highest paying symbol is the wild symbol, which pays 5x for 5 across a pay line. Wilds substitute for all regular symbols. Scatters only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. The purple gem is a scatter symbol and can land on all reels in the base game. The wild can only appear during the Magikspell wild feature.
Magikspell Features
The purple gem symbol can randomly transform into a Golden Gem symbol within the base game spins and activates the ‘Magikspell Wild’ Feature. When the purple gem lands on the reel set, it is marked with a Magik ring. If it turns into a golden gem it is marked with a golden ring. The position with the golden ring turns into the wild symbol on the next spin. All adjacent positions with Magik RIngs turn into wild symbols, as well as the positions next to them. Magik Rings and Golden Rings do not disappear from the reels until they turn into wild symbols or Magikspell Free Spins start.
Free Spins
Landing 3 scatters during a base game spin will trigger the ‘Magikspell Free Spins’ Feature. Awarding 3 Spins, during spins the golden gem symbol is a prized gem. These symbols are locked in position, and each reveals a prize between 0.5x – 25x. Unlocked positions are turned into individual spinning reels. If a new prize gem lands, it is also locked in place and spins are reset back to 3.
Every time the Purple Gem symbol lands, 1 point is added to the meter. There are 3 milestones on this meter. Milestone 1 is 50 points, 8 to 8 Magik Rings are randomly added to the reel set. Milestone 2 is 100 points; 3 to 8 Magik Rings are randomly added to the reel set. Milestone 3 is 150 points; the Free Spins Multiplier is upgraded progressively in the following order. 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 150x or 250x.
After each upgrade of the Free Spins multiplier, the meter is reset to 0. If the number reaches above 150, the Free Spins multiplier is upgraded, and the difference is added to the meter after the 0 resets. If the multiplier reaches 250x, no points are added until the Free Spins feature is activated. When all positions on one column are prize gems, the column is cleared, prizes are collected, and all positions are unlocked.
