The middle reel position of the leftmost reel is a special position in the base game. On the initial spin when a symbol lands on this symbol position and part of a winning combination. The symbol type becomes the Path symbol of this game round and the Shifting Maze Avalanche is activated. All blocker symbols, path symbols, and minotaur wild symbols are locked in place and all other symbols are removed. The path symbols on each reel are centered and all reels shift one step to the left. The first reel is removed and a new reel with 1 – 6 blocker symbols is added to the right.
After each shift, 2 random blocker symbols are unlocked. If any special blocker symbols are unlocked their corresponding features are triggered. New symbols will fall to replace empty spaces. The Shifting Avalanche continues until there are no more winning combinations with path symbols occur.
The Guidance Of Athena Feature is activated when an Athena Blocker symbol is unlocked. Up to 4 path symbols are placed on the reel set before new symbols fall. Any win activated the shifting maze avalanche during the Labyrinth Free Spins. Labyrinth blocker symbols can appear during the Labyrinth Free Spins.
