It has been a while since my last Nolimit City slot review, which is titled ‘Book Of Shadows‘. This game really surprised me with detailed visuals and unique art work. With the saturated Book mechanics with the studio’s own twist. Nolimit City is one of my favorite providers in the industry, because of their unique creations. Next from the studio is titled ‘Monkey’s Gold xPays’, which is available to play now across all sites.

This slot has a theme based on the jungle with a Monkey King who rules the land and controls the riches. The slot background shows the jungle, with stone sculptures on either side with a carved face. There are also other details such as vines scattered, golden coins on the jungle floor, and other plants in the jungle. I like the unique artwork style and visual aspects of this game. The studio never disappoints with this.

There are 12 symbols in total, this includes 4 low paying symbols. These are represented by J, Q, K, and A. There are also 3 medium tier symbols, these are represented by blue, green, and orange gems. Lastly, there are 3 premium symbols, these are represented by blue, green, and red mask sculptures. The highest paying symbol is the red mask premium, which pays 0.6x for 1 symbol. In addition to these regular symbols is wild and free spins scatter. Wilds substitute for all symbols except the scatter.

Monkey’s Gold xPays Features

xPays are incorporated in this slot release, there needs to be at least 3 matching symbols connected from reel 1 to 3 to start the xPays symbol drop. All winning symbols will remain on the reel set and any additional paying symbols will remain. xPays initiates new symbols that drop in as the non-winning symbols are removed. Additional winning symbols need to connect to remain on reels. xPays payout when no more winning symbols land.

2×2 and 3×3 colossal symbols can land on any spin, holding a multiplier ranging from 4x to 500x. Any empty spaces underneath these colossal symbols will be replaced with wilds.

After a collapse or full screen, the collected symbols will be upgraded to a higher tier symbol. The highest paying symbol will be upgraded with an added multiplier.

Landing 3 or more bonus symbols will trigger the ‘Free Spins‘ feature. Awarding 10 free spins, any additional scatters on the trigger will award 3 extra spins per scatter. Landing scatters during spins will award 1 extra spin. A sticky wine multiplier will be added during spins. A vine multiplier will award an increasing sticky win multiplier for each row that is filled up and stay during the feature.
