Net Gains is the third collaboration between Relax Gaming and Casino Grounds. The Shark, Crocodile and Rhino characters have returned again; this time, we are out at sea. The trio are in pursuit of treasures the sea has to offer. Join the quirky characters on their ship for this fun adventure. The game background shows the waves of the sea, with the boat filled with the crew and the clear skies. Characters are doing jobs on the boat, such as pulling up traps filled with crabs, pulling ropes to lift boxes and looking ahead for islands to explore. Each symbol has a unique animation which occurs when part of a win.
Symbols have a sleek design. Low Paying symbols are all at the end of a fishing hook, with a bold font and vibrant colour. Premium symbols are different items such as Octopus and Whiskey bottles with well detailed art work. Visually this slot is impressive, with so many different animations occurring and detailed artwork. I personally love the aesthetic of this game, all aspects work well together, and I think Relax Gaming has smashed it
Net Gains has a setup of 6 reels by 4 rows; this includes 4,096 set pay lines. This slot is high variance with a set RTP of 96.10% and a max win capped at 15,000x. You can bet from £0.10 to £60.
Net Gains Symbols & Pay Table
There are 17 symbols in total; this includes 5 low-paying symbols. These are represented by 10, J, Q, K and A. There are also 5 premium symbols, which are represented by Blue Jewels, Bottles Of Booze, Octopus, Crabs and a Lion Captain Character. In addition to these regular symbols is a Wild Symbol, Bonus Scatter, Coin Symbol, which can be Bronze, Silver or Gold, Treasure Chest Collect symbol and 3 Mystery symbols. The highest paying symbol is the Lion Captain Character premium, which pays 25x for 5 across a pay line. Wilds substitute for all regular symbols.
Net Gains Features & Mechanics
There are 3 different Mystery Symbols; the first is a Regular Mystery Symbol. The second is an Octopus Mystery Symbol, which changes a selected symbol type into Mystery Symbols. Lastly is a Mystery Bomb Symbol, which acts as a Regular Mystery Symbol and destroys all non Mystery Symbols after wins are added. If two Bonus Symbols are already collected, one Mystery Symbol can reveal a bonus symbol.
There is the option for ‘Special Bet‘, which gives you an 82% higher chance to trigger the Free Spins feature naturally. Costing 20% extra on your bet size.
Landing 3 bonus scatters during a base game spin will trigger the Free Spins feature. This feature can also be purchased for 100x your chosen stake. There is a chance ‘Hot Mode’ can be triggered randomly at the start of any Free Spins Mode. This will increase your chance of winning big. Coin Collection
Collect the multiplier values of coins that land on the reel set when a Collection Chest or Persistent Collect Chest lands. There is a meter filled for each Coin that lands. Coin Values are upgraded, and an additional spin is awarded when this meter is filled. Landing a Persistent Chest will award 5 extra spins. A Coin Rain can randomly occur, 10 coins will be added to the reel set.
Stacked Wilds
There are two types of Wilds that can land during this feature. Multiplier Wilds have a value between 2x to 5x. Then also Countdown Wilds, which always start with a counter of 3. This number is reduced by 1 for every spin. When this counter reaches 1, and the symbol is used as part of a win, it will be destroyed.
Sticky Mystery
Mystery Symbols will land more frequently during these spins and be sticky. Fill out the Mystery Meter for these Sticky Symbols and extra spins to be awarded. This meter is filled by one step for each winning combination which occurs. Mystery Symbols can only appear on reels 2 to 6.
Conclusion
Overall, I think this slot is such a well made third instalment by both Relax Gaming and Casino Grounds. Memorable characters from the previous collaborated slots have returned. With a well detailed game background, which includes a lot of different animations and characters. Visually there is a lot to look at, but it is not overwhelming. The art work is modern with a nice use of colours which are not too bright and in your face. All aspects go very well together and I think Relax Gaming has done an incredible job creating Net Gains. Now onto the features and mechanics;
There is a Special Bet for those of you who want a better chance at landing the Free Spins feature. Plus a Bonus Buy option if available in your country. There are 3 different Bonus Features which you can pick between once the feature is triggered. One is Stacked Wilds, with some special Multiplier Wilds with a multiplier between 2x to 5x. The second is Sticky Mystery Symbols, which appear on reels 2 to 6 and a Mystery Meter. The third is special coin symbols, which fill a meter awarding higher coin values and additional spins.
