On each spin between 1 and 5 potions will randomly appear above reels 2 – 6. The potion will either be red or blue. When a blue potion is triggered, the corresponding reel expands to double its original height and new symbols then fill the reels. A red potion is then added above the reels and can cascade down to trigger as before. During Free Spins all expanded reels are locked at that height for the remainder of the Free Spins feature. Reels expanded in the base game are also locked at that height for the remainder of the Free Spins feature. If triggered on the same spin that the Free Spins feature is awarded.
When a red position has triggered all symbols on the corresponding reels become wild. Once all wins have been paid out, the initial cascade is complete either a red or blue potion will be randomly placed above the reel. If a red potion is triggered during the Free Spins feature, the reel may display a Megaways multiplier. This multiplies the number of symbols on the reel by the multiplier value shown. If a bonus symbol is replaced by a wild after a red potion is activated, the bonus symbol will be awarded.
When a bonus symbol lands on a reel it adds one to the Bonus Meter at the side of the reel set and then explodes with new symbols filling the reels. The bonus meter is cleared when no more cascades occur. The Free Spins feature is triggered when 4 or more bonus symbols land during a base game spin, the number of Free Spins are awarded. Landing 3 bonus scatters during a Free Spin will retrigger the feature awarding additional spins.
