Print Studios (Royal Potato 2) – Q&A
We recently had the chance to speak with Filip Wargeus, CCO and Co-Founder at Print Studios. With the recent announcement of their new game, Royal Potato 2, we were eager to delve into the details of the game and discuss the future plans for the company. Read on to see what was discussed in this Royal Potato 2 Q&A;
Could you tell us about Print Studios?
Sure! We were founded in 2020 and our philosophy at Print Studios are to deliver high quality slot games tailored to enthusiasts enjoying deeper gameplay. All games are built in-house and we got a great team onboard. We like to take our time to enjoy the process of creating a slot and I like to think that’s part of the success.
What inspired the release of Royal Potato 2?
The release of Royal Potato 2 was inspired by the success and popularity of the original Royal Potato game. The positive feedback motivated us to develop a sequel that builds on the original’s strength while introducing exciting new features and enhancements to the gameplay. We wanted to see how far we can take the story and at the end of the day, it’s a very fun slot to work on. We also felt there were certain elements we could improve on, thus delivering an even more thrilling and rewarding experience for the players. One new feature is the potato sack that can land in free spins allowing for comebacks and increased potential.
How does Royal Potato 2 stand out compared to your previous releases?
This is our first sequel so already there it’s different. For the original game, we spent countless hours researching potatoes all over the world. That made for some very fun and interesting slack threads internally. That’s something we didn’t have to do this time around… Given the success of the original, this release will be one of our biggest yet but we approach all games in similar fashion when it comes to the game creation process.
What is your next launch? what are the main aspects of this game that players can be excited for?
Our 10th game is being released on the 13th of July – Shinobi Spirit. It’s our take on a hold-n-win slot set in a forgotten ninja village somewhere in the 15h century Japan. An action packed game with a bamboo prize feature in the base game and a Shinobi hold-n-win bonus totaling 8 features. The game has a max win of 20,000x and we hope the players will appreciate our take on this genre. We’re super excited for the release!
What can we look forward to from Print Studios in 2023 and 2024?
Much more to come from us! We’re only just getting started. We’re targeting six games a year and we hope to keep the momentum of epic releases going. There might be some more sequels coming from us so make sure to keep an eye out for that. Thank you very much for having me on.
