Rainbow Gold Slot Review – Pragmatic Play
It has been nearly 2 weeks since my last Pragmatic Play slot review, this was for the game titled ‘Wild Beach Party’. Which has a max win capped at 5,000x and a Free Spins feature with a multiplier up to 729x on offer. Today we are learning all about ‘Rainbow Gold’, which is set to release on 17th March across all sites!
This slot uses the popular Irish leprechaun theme, with colourful rainbows and golden coins. The game background looks to be set in an enchanted forest, with colourful flowers & mushrooms, and butterflies. The visual aspects are detailed with a vibrant colour palette, symbols are represented by theme-related items. Such as horse shoes, beers and wishing wells.
Rainbow Gold has a classic setup of 5 reels by 3 rows, this includes 20 set pay lines. This slot is high variance with a set RTP of 96.63% and a max win capped at 5,000x. You can bet from £0.20 – £100.
Rainbow Gold Pay Table & Symbols
There are 12 symbols in total, this includes 5 low-paying symbols. These are represented by 10, J, Q, K, and A. There are also 5 premium symbols, these are represented by beers, wishing wells, horseshoes, leprechaun hats, and four-leaf clovers. In addition to these regular symbols is a wild symbol and a Leprechaun symbol. The highest paying symbol is the wild symbol, which pays 25x for 5 across a pay line. Wilds substitute for all symbols except the Leprechaun symbol and appear on all reels. The Leprechaun symbol appears on all reels, awarding the prize on the top tracker above the reel it lands on.
Rainbow Gold Features
The Top Tracker above the reel set can display money rewards from 2x – 100x. An ‘All In View Prize’, which awards all the prizes from the top tracker currently displayed. Or A ‘Super Spins’ prize that awards the Free Spins feature. Each also has a random number of reels from 1-4 that is locked for the duration of the feature.
The Super Spins Free Spins feature is played on up to four 3×5 matrices. The feature starts with a number of matrices unlocked equally to the number on the top tracker when initially triggered. Each matrice has its own top tracker, with random items which move right to left on each spin. Landing the Leprechaun symbol will award the prize above the reel it lands on. The prizes that can land on the top trackers are;
Direct Money Award – 2x – 500x total bet.
All In View Prize – Awards all values from the top trackers on all matrices.
Additional Free Spins – 2-5 extra spins awarded.
Rainbow Boost – Unlocks one of the locked matrices.
There is an ‘Ante Bet’ option available. Increasing the bet by 25%, this will increase the chance to hit Leprechaun symbols.
Overall, I think this slot is a quirky Irish-themed released by the studio and includes a unique bonus feature. With a max win capped at 5,000x and a Super Free Spins feature played on four 3×5 matrices. Be sure to try out the game for yourself and check out our exclusive casino offers.
