Riddle Reels A Case Of Riches Slot Review – Play’n Go
I am already back with another Play’n Go slot announcement! Like I said these really do feel weekly since they have 52 games planned for 2020. Today we hit number 26/52, after the recent review of ‘Win-A-Beest’. Which really did surprise me, with unique features and generally fun gameplay. It is nice to know the studio still has some surprises up their sleeves, today we learn all about ‘Riddle Reels A Case Of Riches‘. This slot is set to release 30th July, across all sites.
This game follows the master of mystery and in solving the crime of the century in a case of wealth and reward. Putting you on a case as Sherlock Holmes with a troubling adventure ahead. Work your way around the board to gather clue points in an attempt to solve the mystery and take home prizes. In the background, you can see various buildings in the heart of London in the 1880s, including a Baker’s and Pub. Visuals, are mysterious, with Sherlock Holmes shadow seen and no one else to be seen in the gloomy alleys. Overall, I love the unique art style used within this game.
Riddle Reels A Case Of Riches has a setup of 3 reels by 3 rows, this includes 9 set pay lines. This game is medium variance with a set RTP of 96.22% and max win capped at 5,000x. You can bet from £0.10 – £100.

There are 10 symbols in total, this includes 4 low paying symbols. These are represented by a noose, tools, swords and pistols. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by Purple, Green, Yellow and Blue background suspect character symbols. In addition to these regular symbols is a wild and clue scatter. Wilds can appear as regular, x2 and x3 multiplier wilds. Wilds substitute for all symbols except scatters. More than one multiplier wild part of a win will multiply up to x27.
Riddle Reels A Case Of Riches Features
A scatter landing on any 2 reels will trigger the ‘Re-Spin’ feature. These 2 reels are held and the other reels will re-spin. If another scatter does not land on this re-spin. The ‘Mystery Feature‘ will then be triggered. Each scatter will duplicate to cover their reel and reveal either a suspect or weapon.
Landing 3 scatters on any spin or within Re-spins will trigger the ‘Bonus Feature’. A board game with 14 different spaces will be displayed. Each space is a clue, each bonus feature consists of 5 clues, 1 obtained at the start and 4 through rolls on a dice. The dice generates a number between 1 – 6 and moves you around the board. Each clue awards 1, 2, or 3 free spins and 1 of 4 variations. These variations are;
- Weapon – All weapon symbols convert to the same weapon
- Suspect – All suspect symbols convert to the same suspect
- Guaranteed wild reel
You must obtain 1, 2 or 3 winning spins during the free spins in order to complete the clue and earn clue points. Clue points are collected and added to the clue point wheel meter, if this meter fully charges during this bonus feature, a mega spin is awarded. If this meter is not fully charged after all 4 dice rolls are used the clue point wheel will trigger.
The clue point wheel feature expands the clue point wheel meter charged with clue points collected and spins an arrow. If the arrow lands within the charged area the mega spin will trigger. The mega spin will be 1 free spin with 1 reel being wild or multiplier wild and 2 reels being a suspect or weapon. After the mega spin finishes the bonus feature is re-triggered.
Overall, I am glad Play’n Go is experimenting with their visuals, themes and features. This slot is full of a big variety of features and medium variance with a max win of 5,000x. Be sure to try the game for yourself on release. Also, be sure to check out our exclusive casino offers.
