Rise Of Olympus Play’n Go slot review-
If you love Moon Princess you will love this new release.
Rise Of Olympus Play’n Go slot review- Play’n Go are already back with announcements and teasers at new slots. They recently released ‘Sizzling Spins’ which is a big success and I personally cannot stop playing this slot. It was made very well in every aspect and pays very well with high volatility.
Their new slot has been teased and it looks interesting but also familiar. The slot is called ‘Rise Of Olympus’ and is released on all casino sites with the provider 23rd August. The game has a 96.5% RTP with a 5 by 5 grid style. So the game pretty much looks like a ‘Moon Princess’ reskin. The theme is Greek Gods instead of anime girls and the game has the same features and gameplay. In the base game when you get wins a wild will appear in the middle of the win, the multiplier will increase with consecutive wins and the more wilds the better the chance of clearing the grid for the free spins.
The 3 premium symbols are the three gods, for lower tier the symbols range from bolts, helmets, and harps
Hand of God
This feature will randomly trigger on a ‘non-winning’ spin in the base game. One of the three gods will appear and use his special ability/ feature.
Hades– Will transform one set of symbols to another symbol. aka Love
Poseidon– Adds two Wilds randomly onto the grid. aka Star
Zeus– Two sets of symbols are removed from the grid. aka Storm
Wrath of Olympus
This feature is triggered when the meter is fully charged on the bottom left of the screen. You fully fill it up by landing a 5 of a kind win with any of the god symbols lined up. When you fill the bar the game will spin, then one by one the god will use his ability giving you a better chance at clearing the board for the free spins or even a big win possibly.
So after clearing the grid, you are given a choice of three different options for the free spins;
Hades- 4 free spins, recharge= 4 more free spins aka Love
Poseidon – 5 free spins, recharge= 3 more free spins aka Star
Zeus= 8 free spins, recharge= 2 more free spins aka Storm
On each non-winning spin in each of the bonuses, the god will activate his ability. If you manage to fill up the meter in the bonus you will be awarded the recharge extra spins, which can happen multiple times but you are capped at 20 spins. In the free spins, the multiplier will not reset between spins like the base game. But the multiplier is capped at 20x. Its a shame both the free spins and multipliers are both capped at 20. But the bonus does have potential in all 3 options.
Overall, I’m disappointed that Play’nGo decided to just reskin a big hit previous slot. This new slot can pay but it just resembles Moon Princess exactly with features. There is nothing new added except artwork. The slot itself is medium to high volatility. We need something new from Play’n Go instead of remakes.
Gameplay – 2/5
Bonus Game- 4/5
