Street Magic Slot Review Play’n Go
Street Magic Slot Review Play’n Go – Well after Play’n Gos big success with ‘Sizzling Spins’ and fail with ‘Rise of Olympus’ they just seem so hit and miss with releases recently. So we don’t know whether to look forward to any releases anymore. But they are already back with an announcement of a new slot. The slot is called ‘Street Magic‘ and is already released on all sites with the provider.
The slot is based around a character known as ‘The Magician’ and has a theme of mystery and mischief. Play’n Go said they wanted the theme to reflect and feel like big magicians such as ‘David Blane’ and ‘Dynamo’ which are classed as ‘Urban’ in the magician world these days compared to the old timers of magic.
The theme is cool but has been seen before, it is a shame the graphics and artwork do not reflect what Play’n go are capable of making. Just looks rushed in my opinion, imagine if they took their time. They could have upgraded visuals and graphics.which would make a huge difference with the whole feel of the game and would look amazing with the chosen theme especially. But the music and sound effects really go well with this slot and bring the gameplay a whole new level. Let’s hope it can pay …
Base Game Features
- 20 pay lines
- 96.48 RTP
- 0.20-£100 spins
In the base game if you land two scatters on reels 1,3 or 5 the magician will use one of 3 of his abilities;
- The Wild Shuffle- 4 wilds will randomly land on reels. simple but could be a dud very easily.
- The Transporting Man– A third magician scatter is added to the missing reel which will unlock the free spins. very useful feature.
- The Expanding Man– The two magician scatters expand and turn into wild reels. If you have some premiums lined up this could pay nicely.
This feature is very good, it gives you a chance to get the free spins like a second life and the other two features are okay just can be duds half of the time. But its better than a two scatters tease with no extra chance or win on reels.
‘Table shows pay from a £1 bet’
For symbols, we have 4 low paying which consist of heart. diamond, club, and spade. So just the classic low symbols as always. The for higher we have 5 symbols which consist of themed items such as handcuffs, daggers, padlocks etc. The highest paying symbol is the wilds card and golden ring. Really wish the artwork was better on these symbols. The scatter acts as a wild too. They have the exact same feature in Book Of Dead.
You can get the free spins by either landing the 3 scatters on reels 1,3 and 5. Or in the transporting man feature in the base game. You will need to pick 1 out of 3 cards which will be displayed. You can pick 8,10 or 12 spins.
In the free spins any wilds that land on reels will stick in place for the duration of the spins. If you land a few early on it could pay out insane. Really good potential on this bonus. You can also retrigger if you land one wild on each reel. This will give you the chance to pick out of 3 cards again, 4,6 or 8 additional spins can be won. You can only retrigger once though which is a shame.
Overall I really like this slot, the volatility is definitely medium to high. It is a shame the graphics/ artwork arent better but the payout is the most important thing with slots of course. I recommend you to try this slot for yourself. The music and gameplay together give the game insane gameplay for players. Glad Play’n Go have done something different let’s hope it stays like this.
