The Vault Slot Review – Snowborn Games
It feels like every couple of months I learn of a new studio, which was unheard of to me until stumbling across one of their latest slot releases. Some which I stumble across are newly established and some are years old which I have missed out on. One of the giants in the casino industry, Microgaming is known for working with smaller studios on new game projects. This time with Snowborn Games, an iGaming studio based in Stockholm and Helsinki. There are only 2 games produced by Snowborn Games, one just released and one on the way! Today I am reviewing ‘The Vault’, which is available to play now across all sites.
The Vault has a theme based on a burglar carrying out a bank vault heist in Paris. The visuals show the burglar character on the left-hand side of the reel set. With the background set inside the bank, the vault at the back with lasers around the vault door and fancy detail within the building. Including marble pillars and sculptures. I think the visuals are well crafted and represent the theme well.
This game has a classic setup of 5 reels by 3 rows, this includes 20 set pay lines. The Vault is a medium variance game due to the set RTP of 96% and max win capped at 5,000x. You can bet from £0.20 – £20.
The Vault Symbols & Paytable
There are 11 symbols in total, this includes 5 low paying symbols. These are represented by 10, J, Q, K and A. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by gold bars, gems in jewellery boxes, diamonds and purple diamonds. In addition to these regular symbols is a bonus symbol and wild symbol, which substitutes for all symbols except bonus symbols. The highest paying symbol is the purple diamonds and wild symbol, both pay 100x for 5 across a pay line.
The Vault Features
2 or more bonus symbols landing will trigger the respin feature. Reels will spin again and bonus symbols stick in place. On each respin landing 1 or more bonus symbol will award another respin. Bonus symbols will stick in position and not be respun. Respins continue until no more bonus symbols land or the Vault Bonus is triggered.
5 Bonus Symbols will trigger The Vault Bonus Feature. This awards 10 free spins with a multiplier of x3 active for the duration of these spins. Every +1 symbol that lands an extra spin is awarded. Every 1x symbol that lands increase the multiplier by 1x. The middle reel is fully wild for this feature.
Conclusion
