ELK Studios has announced their first slot of 2019; the slot has a fantasy theme with dragons and magic. To say it’s their first release I was hoping for something with high volatility and some detailed graphics. But instead, we have a slot with low-quality graphics but an RTP of 96.1% and a max win of 5000x. It doesn’t visually look good but has some potential volatility in it. The Wiz Slot Review Symbols & Paytable
The slot has four low paying symbols which are represented by spoons, rings, keys, and brooches all in silver. There are also four high paying symbols which are represented by potions, moon, chest and a sun. The sun pays 10x over all five reels. The slot also has a multiplier wild of 2x-5x and a bonus symbol. If more than one wild lands in the base game the multipliers will combine and multiply your win.

Two or more scatter symbols will activate the Wizspins. but the number of spins depends on how many scatters: 2 Scatters = 1 Wizspin , 3 Scatters = 5 Wizspins , 4 Scatters = 7 Wizspins , 5 Scatters = 10 Wizspins.
During these spins, you can land a retrigger by landing 1-5 scatters which all give a different number of extra spins. 1 Scatter = 1 Extra spin, 2 Scatters = 2 Extra spins, 3 Scatters = 5 Extra spins, 4 Scatters = 7 Extra Spins, and 5 Scatters = 10 Extra Spins.
When the bonus begins all low paying symbols transform into a high paying symbol, each low tier transforms into one high paying symbol. During spins, the dragon wild will now turn into a walking wild feature, by moving one space to the left after each spin until it falls off the reel set on reel 1.
The Wiz Slot Review Conclusion
Overall, this slot was boring to play. There isn’t enough going on in the base game, and the bonus feature for me just seemed so hard to land more than 1 Wizspin. The artwork needs more detail, but it has medium volatility with a max win of 5,000x. I wish ELK started the year off with a better release, but the slot itself is well made.
