ThunderStrike Megaways Slot Review – BluePrint

I just reviewed Blueprints latest release Vikings Unleashed and an upcoming slot called Mars Attacks! Now we have another slot coming out; it is lined up to be released after Mars Attacks most likely before the year is up. This new slot is called ‘ThunderStrike Megaways‘ and I have no confirmed release date currently, but my guess is the end of December.  Yes, the slot does feature Megaways which feel very saturated already by the provider.

It is a bit of a shame, as Megaways are a great way to boost volatility. But seriously? It feels like there’s a new Megaways game out every single week. Let us know if you feel the tool is saturated since the license has been shared. The slot has an RTP of 95.96%, respins and a unique gamble feature. This slot pays both ways which I haven’t seen in a while on newly released slots. Let’s find out more in our ThunderStrike Megaways slot review!

athunder base game

The slot has a familiar theme and reminds of Pragmatic Plays release of Asgard. The graphics don’t look as good compared to Vikings or mars attacks which makes me believe the slot may have been rushed which is disappointing. But that is just the visuals; the slot is volatile with the Megaways tool and the respin feature spices up the base game.

ThunderStrike Megaways Slot Review Base Game Feature

There are only two minor base game features in this slot; the first is a respin feature.  When the lightning hammer symbols land on a reel it will expand to cover the reel; the reel will also be a multiplier of 2x or above for the duration of the respin.  During the repin if another hammer symbol lands another respin will occur if one doesn’t land spins will continue like normal. You can get a  full screen with this feature.

The second feature is a mystery symbol when the golden tree symbols lands on reels they will reveal a mystery symbol at the end of the spin. This can not show the free spins symbol.

ThunderStrike Megaways Slot Review Symbols And Paytable

The game has six low paying symbols which consist of 9,10, J, Q, K, and A. They are all in a font with a different colour to represent each.  There are also four high paying symbols which are represented by different characters. The highest paying is the man with golden armour. This symbol pays 50x overall six reels. There’s also a hammer symbol for the respin symbol and the mystery symbol of the golden tree.

ThunderStrike Megaways Slot Review Bonus Feature

athunder gamble

To activate the gambling wheel you need to land a win in the base game of 10x or over; you can gamble up for cash or free spins. You can win up to 1000x or 100 mega spins.

You can increase the amount you want to gamble for which will decrease the green area and increase the red area for the wheel. I would personally take cash instead as the spins did not pay as much as the money I could have collected most of the time. The spins play like usual with both base game features active. Someone could be lucky and gamble all the way!

ThunderStrike Megaways Slot Review Conclusion

Overall, I think this slot is fun to play. The base game is volatile with the respin feature paying very well especially with pays paying both ways.  The Bonus feature is unique, and I would personally never take the spins as they aren’t guaranteed to pay the cash you could collect. But if you have some luck, you could get some insane wins from this slot. The gamble feature seems to be a recurring feature in slots now and might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I think it adds to the volatility.
