Turn Your Fortune Slot Review – NetEnt

They’re back at it. NetEnt released a teaser trailer last week showing off a new slot and its exciting bonus feature. They are just non stop with releases to end another great year and even teasing slots for January like Strolling Staxx which we reviewed recently. But this slot is called ‘ Turn your fortune‘ and is released on all sites January 3rd. Let’s find out more in our Turn Your Fortune Slot Review!

turn your fortune slot base game

Looking at this slot visually it is a massive disappointment, we know NetEnt has some talented artists just looking at other slots, but this looks outdated and bland. There aren’t even any visuals in the background just some horrible wallpaper that was probably on offer black Friday. Also, the slot is squished onto the screen as of the golden barrel taking up a lot of screen space. The symbols are also bad quality, there is no detail, and they look poorly textured. This is such a huge shame, and the slot seems rushed just looking at visuals.

The game has four low paying symbols of J to A; the symbol design is just a font with a different background colour for each logo. There are also 5 high paying symbols which are represented as a shell, fish, turtle, owl and a lion as the highest paying. They all have different colour schemes, but like I previously mentioned visually appealing. The game also has a scatter symbol, wild and key symbol (only in free spins). The max win in the base game is 400x which can be hit with a full screen of the lion symbol which is quite low for a base game compared to many other slots with a volatile base game. The only somewhat volatile feature on this slot is the bonus feature.

Turn Your Fortune Bonus Feature And Respin Feature

In the base game if 2 scatters land on reels 1,3 or 5, this will activate the respin feature. This is where the golden barrel will be useful to you, It has 5 levels of coin values and to get to the top you need to fill the fortune wins meter which is on the left border of the slot. You fill this meter by collecting the collectible symbol which is displayed when it triggers. You need 5 symbols for each level up and the key symbol awards an increase of the coin values on the barrel, the key symbol will only land on reel 5. This feature will stop when no more collectable symbols land on reels or when a max of 20 full-screen symbols is collected.

The free spins feature is activated when 3 scatters land on reels; then a 3 tier wheel will appear and spin. This will decide the number of free spins, collectible symbol and the fortune win level you start at. You can win between 7-13 free spins (which I feel is low). To level up, you need to collect 20 symbols but you can land a 10+ collectible symbol on reel 2 which is a nice, helpful boost. Also for each scatter that lands you are awarded 1 extra spin. You can win a max of 200x by reaching the top of the levels. NetEnt seems to love bonuses with collectibles required as they are common in so many of there slots.

Turn Your Fortune Slot Review Conclusion

Overall, this slot can be quite confusing when you first play primarily in the respin and bonus features. The slot visually looks awful and doesn’t seem that volatile. The base game does not pay well, but the bonus can pay up to 2000x. I think NetEnt have saturated their slots, they tend to release way too often, and they never seem volatile. You can try the game out for yourself January 3rd on all good NetEnt casinos. Disagree with my opinion? Come to check out my Twitch stream and let’s have a chat there.
