It is coming to the end of the year; studio Play’n Go has had a cracking 2022. With multiple slot releases each month and a long list of successful games. My final review this year for Play’n Go is for the game titled ‘Wild Falls 2’, which is available to play now!
The original game is titled ‘Wild Falls‘, which was released on 24th January 2019. We are returning to the Yunkon River for a second adventure, with our favourite Miner and Donkey characters making a comeback. There is a little backstory for each character this time, these are. For The Miner, ‘He’s heard the river is still ripe for gold and with the Klondike Gold Rush just beginning, he wouldn’t dare miss out!‘ For The Donkey, ‘This dutiful donkey lends a huge helping hoof in finding the gold that is promised’.
Visually this slot has had a massive modern upgrade; when you compare the visuals of each game, you can see big differences. The game background shows the Yunkon River, with forestry on either side and a mist at the bottom. There are mine entrances, minecart tracks and other details to look out for. When you enter the Free Spins feature, the river is transformed from a clear blue to a beautiful shiny gold. I personally think Play’n Go has nailed this game sequel, and I wonder what a Wild Falls 3 would look like.

Landing 1 or 2 Chest symbols during a spin can trigger the ‘Rapid Re-Spins‘ feature, which will extend the reels. The ‘Gold Rush‘ mechanic can trigger this feature with Gold Chests.
The ‘Gold Rush‘ feature can trigger randomly during a base game spin. All chests on the screen will transform to Gold. Landing on the reel set, they will reveal a random multiplier between 2x to 5x.

Landing 3 Regular Chest Symbols during a base game spin will trigger the ‘River Of Gold Free Spins. Chests will stick and drop one space down on each spin. Special Golden Chests can appear during this feature. Free Spins continue as long as there is at least one chest symbol on the reel set.

Landing 3 Gold Chest Symbols during a base game spin will trigger the ‘Super River Of Gold Free Spins. During spins, all Chests that appear are Gold & contain Multipliers. Conclusion
Overall, I think this slot is an impressive game sequel and impressed by the differences between both games. 3 Years later, we finally have the sequel some have waited for. This new release shows off new sleek modern visual aspects; the difference is a big surprise. The game background is the same idea, showing off the beautiful Yunkon River and some forestry on either side. Plus, the mining tunnel entrance and rail tracks. The reel set is on this flowing river, with the chests full of gold at the top before the waterfall. I love what Play’n Go has done with this sequel and wonder which slot is next for a remake.
