Wolf Legend Megaways Slot Review – BluePrint

BluePrint are using their contract with Big Time Gaming well by releasing so many well-made Megaways slots. We’ve already had Primal, Temple Of Treasure, Lightning Strike, Valletta and many more on their long list. Some more successful than others but they all offer great potential which is what we all look for in slots. I recently reviewed ‘Fishing Frenzy Megaways‘ which I am so excited to play on release. Adding the tool into old classics was a great move by the provider. But now we have a new Megaways slot inspired I think by a Pragmatic Play classic, this new slot is titled ‘Wolf Legend Megaways‘ and has a current set release date of ‘12th April‘ which is coming up quickly. Let’s find out more in our Wolf Legend Megaways slot review.

One thing I have noticed is this slot is set up the same way as Buffalo Rising Megaways and Temple Of Treasure Megaways. When you put them side by side, it is so similar. It is like the slot skeleton has been reskinned. It is not a negative just something I noticed. This slot has very detailed visuals, especially in premium symbols. It is a shame the background is a plain wallpaper, but this does put all attention on the slot itself.

Overview

Like in the name this slot is themed with the Wolf as the main attraction, but other animals appear as other premium symbols, you will hear the wolf in the background doing many different howling sound effects along with a simple soundtrack. The slot sound effects like with wins etc. are identical to Buffalo Rising too. This slot has cascading symbols in play.

This slot has a setup of 6 reels by up to 7 rows due to the Megaways tool; there is also a 4 symbol reel appearing above reels 2-4 which helps winning combinations and spins like a normal reel. This slot has Megaways up to 117,649 and a set RTP of 96.21%.  This slot is a high variance with a max win of £50,000x, gamble feature and a bonus buy. Our game here has a bonus buy feature for 75x your chosen stake which is definitely different but will it still pay as good as a 100x stake bonus buy.

Wolf Legend Megaways Slot Review Paytable & Symbols

wolf symbols

This slot has 13 symbols in total which includes 6 low paying symbols represented by 9,10, J, Q, K and A.These symbols have different vibrant colours to represent them individually. There are also four high paying symbols represented by, eagles, buffalos, cougars and golden wolfs. The golden wolf is the highest paying 50x for 6 across all reels. There is also a golden landscape mystery symbol, wolf wild which substitutes for all paying symbols and a wolf moon bonus scatter symbol. The mystery symbols appear in both the base game and bonus feature. When they land, they will all reveal the same randomly picked symbol.

Wolf Legend Megaways Slot Review Bonus Feature

To activate the bonus feature, you need to land 3 or more wolf scatter symbols, or you can trigger automatically with a 75x bonus buy. If you land more than 3 scatters when triggered you will be awarded additional free spins. Each scatter worth a random number of spins when triggered, when all revealed the reels would change into reels only containing empty spaces and scatter symbols with extra spins displayed. This will respin 3 times if you land a scatter while just having 1-2 spins left it will reset back to 3. This plays like the start to the BTG slot Donuts bonus feature. Once respins are completed, and you have collected all your spins you have the choice to gamble for more respins, which gives you the chance to land even more extra spins or you can collect the spins.

wolf bonus

During these free spins, every individual win increases the multiplier by 1x which is very common in Megaways slots, especially by BTG and Blueprint. You can retrigger by landing 3 wolves scatter symbols in the top reel, you will benefit from the mystery symbols feature during spins but it does not activate very often.

Conclusion

Overall, I had fun trying this slot out. It does run very similar to Buffalo Rising Megaways but does have its unique twist. The base game plays well keeping the balance mildly topped up. The bonus is where the money is for this slot. For instance, the respin feature means you can collect a generous number of spins and even have the chance to gamble for more at your own risk. The bonus by being 75x is exciting, and I wonder if it pays as well as a 100x bonus buy. The slot is available 12th April on all sites so try it for yourself!
