Wolf’s Bane Slot Review – NetEnt
NetEnt has been on a rollercoaster this year with game releases. There have been some good releases, some bad and some just did not get the hype they deserved. The casino community always look forward to new releases, however, everyone has their own preferences. The last game I reviewed by the provider was titled ‘Grand Spinn‘, which showed nothing new or unique, However, it did play well. Now it is coming up to Halloween, which means providers will be releasing their spooky game of the year. NetEnt’s spooky game is titled ‘Wolf’s Bane’, which is available to play now across all sites.
Wolf’s Bane is based around a spooky tale and set in a dark environment. Visually this game has good visuals and little animations extras which I have a soft spot for. The background is dark/foggy with tall broken trees and village houses lit up in the mist. There is also a full moon and cloud animations. Overall Netent never produces bad visuals, however, this does not mean they have the best detail.
This game has a setup of 5 reels by 3 rows, this includes 10 set pay lines. Wolf’s Bane is a low variance game due to the max win capped at 500x and set RTP of 96.64%. You can bet from £0.10-£100.
Wolf’s Bane Slot Review Paytable & Symbols
This game has 14 symbols in total, this includes 4 low paying symbols. These are represented by J, Q, K And A. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by a lady holding medicine, a man holding a shovel, a lady holding a candle and a man holding a gun. There is also a bonus symbol for the pick and click feature.
Then there are 4 different wilds, regular wild, expanding wild,x2 multiplier wild and a spreading wild. Lastly is the moon scatter. The most valuable symbol is the man holding a gun/wild symbol, which pays 50x for 5 across a pay line.
Wolf’s Bane Slot Review Features
There are two features you will benefit from in this game, the first is the ‘Pick And Click‘ feature. This is activated when the scatter lands on reels 1,3 and 5. You will then need to pick 1 of the 3 symbols to reveal 5x-50x.
The second is the ‘Free Spins‘ feature, this is activated when you land 3 or more full moon scatters. 3 Scatters Award = 10 Free Spins, 4 Scatters Award = 20 Free Spins And 5 Scatters Award = 30 Free Spins. A screen displaying each of the 4 different wild types is shown, one is randomly selected to be the wild during the free spins feature. You can also retrigger this feature by landing 3 or more scatters to receive the same number of spins for the number of scatters you land.
Conclusion
Overall, I feel like this game is lacking in a lot of categories. Max win capped at 500x is not appealing. The free spins with the special selected wild just remind me of Wild Wild West. I just wish this game had more on offer. Be sure to try the game for yourself and check out our exclusive casino offers.
