BigBot Crew Slot Review- QuickSpin
Quickspin is back, after their success with ‘Eastern Emeralds’ as of the new volatility aspect brought to the provider and new improved artwork. They have definitely taken feedback from players with past games and used it to make some masterpiece slot gameplay. But the provider can still be hit and miss like many others. They haven’t announced many slots frequently, but this could mean they have taken more time in the making of newer releases. After a wait, Quickspin announced the release of ‘Big Bot Crew‘ which is currently out on all sites with the provider.
At first look, the game has very basic Artwork on both the symbols and slot background. The game’s theme is a really unique but confusing one. There is a cast of robots which guide players through the game, isn’t very straightforward like most slots but slots are not all about the visuals. The game is said to have an RTP of 96.5% and be high volatility, but this is just information from the games information sheet. Also includes 40 pay lines and has a max win of 5000x of your bet. But this is just stated information lets see for ourselves.
Base Game Features
First feature and most common is ‘Big Bot Respins‘. This will trigger when two or more full big bot wilds are present on any reels. The number of respins is from the number of full wilds you have on reels. When respin takes place the wilds will move to a random reel, they will keep moving after each respin to a different reel. You get extra respins if you land another full big bot symbol. All wilds will say until respins are over. Very simple feature and can be useful for a nice balance top up but can be a dud a lot of the time with the positioning.
Another feature which I feel is just an add-on to ‘Big Bot Respin’ feature is called ‘Mystery Nudge‘. If you have a full big bot symbol and a half or quarter or on a different reel, the symbol can be nudged on the reel to be full and can trigger the Big Bot respins. This gives players the extra chance at the respins but can be annoying when it teases to nudge but doesn’t succeed.
For symbols, we have 4 lower tier which is different colored cogs, not your usual A or K so relate more to the theme. For higher tier, we have 5 character symbols which consist of robots and main characters. The highest paying symbol is the big bot wilds. Then we have a scatter symbol for the free spins. Very basic as always with the symbols.
For the free spins, you need 3 scatters to land on any reels, this will award 8 free spins. The only benefit of the free spins is every time you land a big bot symbol you are awarded 1 extra free spin for each one you land, any big bot symbols that land not fully will guarantee to be nudged on to the reel. If you get enough big bot symbols this bonus could pay but the bonus is nothing special and doesn’t seem to have the best volatility difference compared to the base game.
Overall this game is meh to me, it has medium volatility from playing, graphics are okay and the gameplay is okay. There nothing special about this game at all and I feel it cannot pay much overall, the features don’t really do much pay wise. Then the free spins do not do much at all and have anything extra except more spins when you land a wild. Just feel disappointed after trying this game out for myself. Really hope Quick Spin can surprise people next time.
