Giga Jar Slot Review – Push Gaming
It has been a couple of months since I last visited the incredibly talented provider Push Gaming. The studio has been on a roll with successful slot launches and still showing off its creative ideas to the casino market. The last game I reviewed is ‘Generous Jack’, which introduces unique gameplay and intriguing mechanics. In today’s review, we are learning all about ‘Giga Jar Cluster Link’, which is set to launch on the 28th of March.
The Jars are making a comeback from the award-winning slot ‘Jammin’ Jars. However, instead of naming this new launch Jammin’ Jars 3, it centres around the Giga Jar in the game title. The Giga Jar first appeared in the previous launch of ‘Jammin’ Jars 2′. This third instalment in the series presents familiar gameplay with a new fun twist. The game background is a fruity DJ deck in a club, with the Giga Jar on the left side wearing its sunglasses and headphones. Fruit symbols have a square shape, and the Jars look as colourful as ever. Visually the slot continues the well-loved visual style from the Jammin’ Jars series.
Giga Jars has a setup of 7 reels by 7 rows; this includes Cluster Pays of 5 or more matching symbols. This slot is high variance with a set RTP of 96.48% and a max win capped at 10,000x. You can bet from £0.10 to £100.
Giga Jar Symbols & Pay Table
There are 8 symbols in total; this includes 6 regular symbols. These are represented by Blueberries, Grapes, Kiwi, Peaches, Oranges and Strawberries. In addition to these regular symbols are an Instant Prize Symbol and a Wild Jar Symbol. The highest paying symbol is the Strawberry Symbol, which pays 1x to 500x for clusters of 5 to 16+. Instant Prize Symbols are bet Multipliers.
A payout is awarded when an Instant Prize Symbol lands in a cluster of 5 or more Instant Prize Symbols. Possible Values are between 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x and 1,000x.
Features & Mechanics
The Jar counter on the left side of the reel set will display your progression. Displaying the Wild Jar Activation Meter, Giga Jar Activation Meter and the Giga Jar Multiplier Upgrade Levels.
When 3 consecutive wins occur, the first Wild Jar Activation meter will be filled. The Wild Jar will be added to the reel set in a random position. When a Wild Jar is part of a winning cluster, it will move to an adjacent position, and its Multiplier is increased by 1x. The current Multiplier value on the Jar is applied to any win the Jar is part of.
This feature is randomly triggered within the base game and Giga Jar Feature. When triggered, 1 to 2 Giant Symbols are randomly added to the grid. Varying in size of 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4. These added symbols can be regular symbols or instant prize symbols.
Ice Breaker Feature
This feature is randomly triggered within the base game and Giga Jar Feature. When triggered 1 to 3 paying symbols are randomly chosen to be removed from the grid.
Giga Jar Feature
Once all 3 Wild Jar Symbols are on the reel, set the Giga Jar Activation Meter is activated. After 3 consecutive winning cascades, the meter is filled, and the ‘Giga Jar’ Feature is triggered. Once triggered, the Giga Jar Symbol will land on the reel set in a random position and stick until the feature ends.
The Giga Jar is a 2×2 Wild Symbol, which acts as 4 individual 1×1 Wild Symbols and substitutes for all other symbols, with a Multiplier starting at 1x. Once it lands, a full progression meter is activated and remains active for 3 following cascades. Then 3 consecutive winning clusters are required to reactivate the Giga Jar. Each Reactivation will upgrade the Multiplier. This Feature continues until no more winning clusters occur.
Overall, if you are a fan of the previous Jammin’ Jars game series, you will love this new addition. The Giga Jar makes an exciting appearance with a new Giga Jar bonus feature and two randomly occurring grid modifiers. Landing consecutive wins are relatively easy with this grid layout, but getting to the Giga Jar feature without the extra bet aid seems challenging. Triggering this bonus feature is a reward if not purchased and within the base game spins. The max win capped at 10,000x feels within reach, especially seeing so many players hitting this on other Push Gaming launches such as Retro Tapes. Mark the date on your calendars as this is a slot launch you do not want to miss. Try the game on the launch in March for yourself, and check out our exclusive casino offers.
