Prism Blast Slot Review – Scientific Games

I don’t normally review Scientific Games (WMS) Slots. Not because I don’t like their slots or because I dislike the provider. Mainly because I honestly forget they produce slots, I never see the hype for their releases and hardly see casino streamers play their slots while live. But I came across their most recent release titled ‘Prism Blast’ which is already available across all sites. Let’s check what they have prepped up in this slot review.

Prism Blast Base Game

Slot Overview

This slot has a retro arcade appearance, which reminds me of some classic games such as Pac-Man and Space Invaders. The soundtrack which plays while you spin is very hype and goes so well with this theme, even the sound effects reflect this. This game has basic visuals which still look great, the background is a basic dark background and the slot has a rainbow border. This is a slot I could honestly see myself playing.

Prism Blast has a classic setup of 5 reels by 3 rows, this includes 20 set Pay Lines. The set RTP is 95.10% – 97.10% (with Mega Drop). This slot is high variance with a max win capped at 15,000x. You can bet from £0.20-£200.

Prism Blast Slot Review Symbols & Paytable

Prism Blast Symbols

This slot has 9 symbols in total, this includes 4 low paying symbols. These are represented by different coloured bordered shapes. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by lemons, cherries, bars and sevens. The last symbol is the rainbow wild, this is the highest paying symbol. 5 wilds across a pay line rewards 30x.

Prism Blast Slot Review Features

So this game has 2 central features, the first is called ‘Wild Blast‘.During a spin,  wilds can be blasted on to reels. Up to 15 wilds can be put onto reels. These wilds will stick and a respin will occur.

Prism Blast Jackpots

The second feature is the progressive jackpots, there are 3 different jackpots. Minor, Major And Epic, for each spin a proportion of the total bet is contributed towards these jackpots. The mega drop jackpots each have payout values before which they must drop.

Conclusion

Overall, this slot was really fun to test out. It is a shame there is no bonus feature instead just a base game. The wild feature makes it more intresting but something else added into the mix would have been a great improvement. But either way this game has great volatility and is simple.

Gameplay – 3.5/5

Volatility – 4.5/5
