Street Magic Slot Review – Play’n Go
I am still going with the underrated Play’n Go slot reviews, today we have a slot from late 2018 which was a favorite. I have reviewed a lot of slots from 2019 including ‘Battle Royal‘ and ‘Contact‘. There have also been many new releases by Play’n Go such as ‘Rabbit Hole Riches‘ and ‘Feline Fury‘. Today we are learning all about Street Magic, which was originally released 13th September 2018.
The slot is based around a character known as ‘The Magician’ and has a theme of mystery and mischief. Play’n Go said they wanted the theme to reflect and feel like big magicians such as ‘David Blane’ and ‘Dynamo’ which are classed as ‘Urban’ in the magician world these days compared to the old-timers of magic. The slot background is a basic purple animated background. With the real detail seen within the magic-related prop premiums.
Street Magic has a setup of 5 reels by 4 rows, this includes 20 set pay lines. This slot is medium variance with a set RTP of 96.48% and max win capped at 5,000x. You can bet from £0.20 – £100.
Street Magic Pay Table & Symbols
There are 11 symbols in total, this includes 4 low paying symbols. These are represented by diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades. There are also 5 premium symbols, these are represented by handcuffs, daggers, locks, pocket watches, and rings. In addition to these regular symbols is a playing card wild and magician scatter. The highest paying symbol is the ring premium, which pays 25x for 5 across a pay line.
Street Magic Features
In the base game if you land two scatters on reels 1,3 or 5 the magician will use one of 3 of his abilities;
The Wild Shuffle– 4 wilds will randomly land on reels. simple but could be a dud very easily.
The Transporting Man– A third magician scatter is added to the missing reel which will unlock the free spins. very useful feature.
The Expanding Man– The two magician scatters expand and turn into wild reels. If you have some premiums lined up this could pay nicely.
You can get the free spins by either landing the 3 scatters on reels 1,3 and 5. Or in the transporting man feature in the base game. You will need to pick 1 out of 3 cards which will be displayed. You can pick 8,10 or 12 spins.
In the free spins any wilds that land on reels will stick in place for the duration of the spins. If you land a few early on it could pay out insane. Really good potential for this bonus. You can also retrigger if you land one wild on each reel. This will give you the chance to pick out of 3 cards again, 4,6 or 8 additional spins can be won. You can only retrigger once though which is a shame.
Conclusion
Overall, I think Play’n Go did a fantastic job creating this slot in 2018. With a unique theme choice at the time but disappointing detail within the artwork. But the main attraction was the variety of features and a max win of 5,000x. Be sure to try out the slot for yourself if you haven’t already. Also, be sure to check out our exclusive casino offers.
