The Shadow Order Slot Review – Push Gaming

It’s been a long time since I’ve reviewed a Push Gaming slot release. The last was the ‘Fat Santa‘ review, but this is just a reskin of ‘Fat Rabbit’. So their last release was ‘Immortal Guild‘, which was released ‘24th April‘ but was exclusive on some sites early. Now we finally have some new announcements for slots in the work for 2019, I really do love push gaming releases and excited to see what’s next. After the big success with ‘Jamming Jars‘, Push Gaming is no longer an underrated provider so let’s hope they keep this up.  Their next slot release has been announced and is titled ‘The Shadow Order‘.This slot has a current release date of ‘1st August’ but is available exclusively on Unibet until the official release date.

The Shadow Order Base Game

This slot is based around a secret organization, working covertly in the halls of power. The artwork is very mysterious and dark to reflect this. Center to this game and the features are orbs. I think the graphics for this slot are very impressive, in the background, there is a simple still background of the garden of a reasonably sized house. Then a girl on the right side of the slot. The soundtrack for this slot is very spooky and mysterious, along with the slot sounds.

The setup is a 5×5 grid, there are no pay lines included. Instead, wins are from symbol clusters of 3 or more symbols included. The set RTP is 96.51%-96.98% and the max win is capped at 24,204.8x+. This gives the slot high volatility, the max win is very surprising. But after Jamming Jars I was hoping for more releases to shock the casino community. You can bet from £0.10-£100.

The Shadow Order Slot Review Paytable & Symbols

The Shadow Order Symbols

This slot has 14 symbols in total, this includes 6 low paying symbols. These are represented by Q, K and A. These symbols have a stamp design. Then also 3 chess pieces for the other 3. There are also 3 high paying symbols represented by cryptex cylinders, Illuminati books and golden rings. There is also an Illuminati wild symbol which also pays the most, rewarding 300x for 5. There are also 3 different coloured orbs, when these are active they become wilds on the grid. There are also ring symbols, these are collectable symbols.

The Shadow Order Slot Review Features

The Shadow Order Orb Feature

The first feature is from the orb symbols, each orb has a different mini-feature. Any of the 3 orbs will trigger a feature when it occupies a hotspot.

  • Orb Of Destruction = Destroys low paying symbols.
  • Orb Of Creation = Adds 3-6 wilds randomly on the grid.
  • Orb Of Preservation = Holds the highest paying symbol on the grid, removing all other symbols besides orbs. These will be held and cascade until no instance of the held symbol falls in.

The second feature is called ‘Character Feature‘, The character features are randomly triggered at the end of a game round.

  • Character 1 = Fully charge up orb 1 and clear the top row, allowing orb 1 to fall in.
  • Character 2 = Select low paying symbols and convert them to the highest paying symbol that is present on the grid.
  • Character 3 = Adds 1 wild to each collum.
  • Character 4 = Removes all low and medium paying symbols and triggers a cascade without these symbols.

The Shadow Order Bonus Feature

The last feature is the free spins feature, this is triggered when all 3 orbs have been collected in the collection tile. These orbs will remain sticky on the grid fully charged for the duration of the free spins. When an orb reaches the collection tile during these free spins, a multiplier is added to each win. If all 3 orbs reach the collection tile during spins, 2 additional free spins are awarded. Orbs will return to their original position full charged.

Conclusion

Overall, this slot was very fun to test out. It is very unique with all the different features that can be triggered. This slot is so volatile it is crazy, learning all the features can take a while but they are no impossible to trigger. I am very excited for this slot to be live on all sites to see the casino communities response.
