Viking Clash push gaming review.

Push gaming is back already after just releasing ‘Turn it up’ which has had some mixed reviews in the community. But they have had some good releases this year and are continuing this summer. They have a new game called ‘Viking Clash’ being released on all sites 21st August.  The slot is a Viking themed slot with a very unique reel set from the provider. With two different features and 96.667% RTP this slot seems to have potential.

The game has some beautiful artwork and sound effects which reflect the theme of the slot well. The slot’s layout is very different, it is two 25 line reel sets. One red set and one green set. Both sets have 5 reels by 3 rows. Players can bet from 0.25 to 100.

Symbols

For symbols, there are only 3 low paying symbols which are represented by stones with symbols carved into them with 3 different colours. There are 8 higher paying symbols. There are two axe symbols and the other 6 are Viking characters. The highest paying symbols are the two Viking symbols with gold borders. There is also a wild symbol which is included in a game feature. There is also a scatter symbol which 3 are needed to unlock free spins.

Wild ships feature

When spinning in the base game a random big wave will come onto the screen, the wave can bring up to 3 wild ships per reel. While these wilds are still on the reels the reels will stay static. The wilds will move from right to left on the reel at a time until they fall off the screen. I think this feature could give some pretty big wins if you get enough of the wilds. It can be a good balance top up but because its a random feature might take a lot of spins to even see it appear.

Free Spins

To trigger the free spins you need to have 3 or more red catapults or green cannon symbols land anywhere. You will get 6 free spins but you are able to collect more in the free spins.

Also when you initially land the bonus for each of the red catapults on the reels a wild symbol is launched onto the green set. This is the same for how many green cannons have landed but wilds are launched onto the red set instead. This could help you get a good start to the free spins.

extra spin

You get an extra spin in the free spins for every scatter that lands on reels. Plus you get another wild added, will be launched on the opposite colour of the scatter colour.

All the wilds you get onto the reels even when the free spins start or when you get a scatter during the spins. They are all sticky wilds. If you manage to collect enough wilds the spins could pay insane. But 6 spins might not be enough to land enough wilds if you don’t get extra spins. If a wild lands on another wild it will turn into an x2. So if the catapult launches a wild on a place where there is already one present it will put up the multiplier by 1.

Overall this game is very different, there volatility is quite high compared to their other releases. The features have some good potential, the base game one can be a great balance booster and can pay out some insane money. The bonus game is a good unique concept. The potential on the free spins is definitely there if you manage to get enough wilds on reels. I hope push gaming keep releasing high volatility slots like this in the future.
