XQC Secures $70m Partnership with Kick

Félix Lengyel, popularly known as XQC, is one of the leading names in the world of streaming. The Canadian, former professional Overwatch player, rose to prominence on Twitch with his engaging variety gaming content and memorable clips. However, Twitch has recently experienced a slump in its metrics, pushing many of its streamers towards alternative platforms due to unpopular policy alterations. Since this monumental announcement, Kick has seen a staggering influx of new users, recording 1 million signups within 24 hours, and breaking all prior records last month. This surge led to significant stability issues during XQC’s inaugural Kick stream due to the massive traffic, which have since been addressed.
