Cash Noire Slot Review – NetEnt
It has been a hot minute since I reviewed a new NetEnt slot release. I have been going back in time to review some of the best old releases. Some of these old games date back to over 7 years ago, some have been given a second chance. Such as ‘Gonzo’s Quest‘, which is being re-released with a makeover and Megaways included. I also did a summary of the 5 best NetEnt slot releases, ranking them with my own opinions. Next from the studio is ‘Cash Noire‘, which is available to play now across all sites.
Cash Noire is all about detective work and crime. With the background set in a dark office, with a board of crime images and a woman sat on a desk smoking. In the background is a window showing a city of tall buildings. There is a simple animation of a woman smoking and other small details. I personally love the style and detail of the visuals, I think NetEnt has done a fantastic job.
This game has a setup of 5 reels by 4 rows, this includes 1,024 pay lines. Cash Noire is a medium variance slot, with a set RTP of 96.06% and max win capped at over 5,000x. You can bet from £0.20 – £200.
Cash Noire Slot Review Pay Table & Symbols
There are 11 symbols in total, this includes 6 low paying symbols. These are represented by magnifying glasses, matches, cards, whiskey, knives and revolvers. There are also 4 premium symbols, these are represented by a lady wearing leather gloves, a male pointing a revolver, a male in the darkness and a lady smoking. In addition to these regular symbols is a mystery symbol. The highest paying symbol is the lady smoking, which pays 4x for 5 across a pay line.
When there are no wins or an avalanche mystery symbols transform into a random regular symbol. If a mystery symbol lands outside the crime zone it reveals a random symbol. If a mystery symbol lands inside the crime zone, it clones itself throughout all spots of the pattern revealing a random symbol.
Cash Noire Slot Review Features
One mechanic used in this slot is ‘Avalanche‘, any winning symbols are removed from the reel set and new symbols will fall in place. The Avalanche will continue within the same spin until there are no more wins.
Now let’s talk about features, the first is ‘Crime Zone‘. A Crime Zone of red hotspots surrounding 3 positions on the reel set gets activated on each spin. Each winning symbol inside this zone activated an item from the clue list. The crime zone pattern increases to 4 and 5 spots when a certain number of clues is activated.
The second feature is ‘Clue List‘, which is a meter to show the progression towards the free spins feature. When 3-6 clues are activated the crime zone expands to cover 4 spots. When 7 or more clues are activated, the crime zone expands to 5 spots. When 13 clues are activated, 6 free spins are awarded.
In the ‘Free Spins‘ feature, a multiplier is activated and the crime zone pattern will always cover 5 spots. The multiplier starts at x1 and increases by x1 for every 7 locations.
Look out for the ‘City Chase‘, this meter displays the positions in which the multiplier progresses and extra spins are awarded. Symbols in the crime zone not part of a win unlock the same amount of locations on the city chase map. Landing on particular spaces can award 2 extra spins, multiplier increase of 1x – 10x and multiplier set to 10x with 3 extra free spins awarded on the last marker.
Overall, I think NetEnt has created a fantastic game with detailed visuals. With a max win of over 5,000x and set RTP of 96.06%. There is a big mix of features to keep you entertained. Be sure to try the game for yourself and check out our exclusive casino offers.
